The most cheapest way and very economical. All you have to do is put toothpaste on your toothbrush and top it with a few pinch of baking soda…then you’ll have white teeth and you can have your million dollar smile friend!

i want to whiten my teeth but i don’t if whitening strips are any good or to have it done professionaly: how much is it and are there side effects?

I just used the Aquafresh whitening trays and they worked pretty well. You only need to put them on for 30-40 minutes daily for a week and the results are really noticable. The only side effect I had was some sensitivity in my teeth, but it went away a couple days after I finished the treatment. I’ve used the Crest White Strips before and couldn’t stand them, they wouldn’t stay on! Good luck with the pearly whites!

Any idea on how to improve you whiteness if your teeth are yellow?…I know not to drink soda, coffee, ect…. Does teeth whitening actually work?

I used the 7 day Crest Whitestrips Premium (about $25) and they worked really well. My gums started getting sore about halfway through, but I just cut back to one strip a day. Use them with the whitening rinse and toothpaste and you will be good to go. If your teeth need more whitening, do another kit.

I went to the dentist today to have my teeth whitened. While applying the whitener with the syringe, the syringe exploded! The whitener got into my gums, lips, and toungue. It bubbled and burned like acid and by the time I left the dentist, my lips were swollen like balloons. My mouth is still swollen and burning and now I am getting random, excruciating shooting pains in my teeth! I tried to get to a Dr but they were closed. I am so scared that my teeth are ruined for good! I am afraid to open my mouth or have anything to eat or drink because I am in so much pain. I don’t know what to do. I heard of increased sensitivity after whitening, but I thought that was just with hot and cold- not randomly. Will this ever go away? What can I do- I think that stuff burned my mouth!yikes. and your dentist wasn’t concerned? i mean, they didn’t give you anything for pain or tell you what to expect? get some sensodyne toothpaste and put it on your teeth. let it sit for a few minutes. don’t swallow it. that should help your teeth be less sensitive. do it at least twice a day.

For some time now, I’ve really wanted to have teeth whitening done.

In reading some of the posts here and on the net, I have real concerns about the home treatment or treatment at the dentist as from what I understand, these treatments do damage the enamel.

As such, is there any other method I can use to get my teeth white. Perhaps it won’t work quite as fast as the other treatments out there, but if I could get the results over a period of a month or even longer, I’d be real happy.

What is the best way to go about whitening my teeth without having it professionally done? I can’t really afford that. I’ve tried some of the strips, but they don’t even stay on my teeth long enough for them to work. Plus, they taste horrible the get so slobbery… lol

We know toothpastes that claim to make teeth whiter are lies. I want to get my teeth professionally whitened (laser??)
